Organisation
The CMC currently has over 85 mediation provider organisational members. The cost of membership is £300 per calendar year. Please Download and complete CMC Membership Form for Provider Organisation. Cheques should be crossed and made payable to the 'Civil Mediation Council'.
Please note that membership renewal is in January every year. Taking up membership in the last 3 months of the year means that you do not pay the annual subscription in the following calendar year.

Schemes for Provider Organisation Members:
CMC Accreditation Scheme
Once your organisation is a provider member of the CMC, you can then apply to become a CMC Accredited Mediation Provider if you wish to do so. This Scheme is for providers of civil / commercial mediation. The Scheme details and Application Form are available in the Reference section of this website and by clicking here. Being accredited by the CMC is the pre-requisite of being able to apply to the Find a Civil MediatorDirectory on the DirectGov website at http://www.civilmediation.justice.gov.uk/.
Once accredited, if you wish your organisation to appear on the Find a Civil Mediator Directory, you will be sent the necessary application to complete for this.
Please note that whilst an organisation can apply to be accredited at any time by the CMC, the Find a Civil Mediator Directory is open to new applications annually only. Applications received after the annual cut off date will be invalid and organisations must apply in the following year.
The cut off date for 2013 has now passed. It costs £300 to become newly accredited. All accredited organisations must apply to be re-accredited at the beginning of each calendar year and the cost of the renewal process is £75.
Workplace Mediation Registration Scheme
If your organisation has at least two workplace mediators, you may want to consider registering on the CMC Registered website at www.cmcregistered.org (or click on the workplace link on the menu under 'About the CMC' on this website) which is a portal for users looking specifically for workplace mediators.
The cost of joining CMC Registered is also £300 with an annual renewal fee of £75.
