As a result of a complaint being upheld, the CMC can take disciplinary action against members. Published decisions are set out below.
National Dispute Resolution – 7.8.20
The CMC has upheld a complaint made under Rule 3(ii) of the CMC’s Rules for Complaints and Discipline that National Dispute Resolution did not meet generally acceptable standards for a Registered Mediation Provider.
Following an investigation and a recommendation from the CMC’s Complaints and Disciplinary Committee, the Board of the CMC has taken the following action:
– NDR’s status as a CMC Registered Mediator has been revoked with immediate effect;
– NDR is at liberty to re-apply for Registered Status. The CMC’s Registration and Standard’s Committee will seek evidence that NDR has addressed the issues raised in the investigator’s report before this status can be granted.
