The National Mediation Awards

A bi-annual event to celebrate excellence in mediation

The National Mediation Awards

The Event

The National Mediation Awards are a bi-annual event created in 2007. The awards are an opportunity to celebrate and reward best practice across all forms of mediation.

They specifically aim to raise the profile of mediation and mediators, demonstrate collaboration between mediation organisations to promote and develop the field of mediation, highlight excellent mediation practice and the credibility of the mediation profession and ensure diversity and inclusion matters are an intrinsic part of mediation.

How does it work

Nominations can be made by anyone. The NMA organising committee then produces a short list for judges, based on whether nominees meet core criteria and whether sufficient evidence has been submitted to support the nomination.

Our independent judges then consider the material submitted as part of the nomination against the judging criteria, to choose a winner.
