About Mediation Plus:

Mediation Plus is a small charity that provides mediation and one-to-one support to people living and working in East Sussex, West Sussex and the surrounding areas, as well as providing accredited mediation training. This includes neighbourhood, intergenerational (Time2Talk), family, workplace and bespoke mediation.

Our services are confidential, impartial, independent, and participation is voluntary.

We are the recognised independent mediation service in our area, having helped thousands of people resolve different kinds of disputes, and to improve communication and relationships over the last 25 years.

Mediation Plus provides the following services:

  • Neighbourhood mediation
  • Intergenerational mediation (young people under 18)
  • Intergenerational mediation (adults)
  • Bespoke mediation
  • Group mediation / facilitation
  • Conflict coaching / one-to-one support
  • Peer mediation training
  • Training for community mediators
  • Conflict prevention training
  • Family mediation
  • Workplace mediation

The organisation has the following in place:

  • All mediators have appropriate training
  • Written Code of Conduct
  • Published complaints procedure
  • Ongoing CPD and supervision/mentoring for mediators
  • Professional Indemnity insurance cover (no less than £1 million)
  • Public liability and Employer liability insurance cover
  • Suitable and sufficient service administration
  • Registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
  • Safeguarding policy
  • DBS checks for mediators
  • Risk assessments carried out for individual cases
